Parks & Recreation

Pelican Bay Parks and Recreation Department is managed by the Public Works department.

The mission of the Pelican Bay Parks & Recreation Department is to develop and maintain a park and recreation system that will enhance the quality of life in our community by providing recreational and leisure opportunities that will promote leisure, recreation, health, and a sense of community.

The Public Works Department and Community volunteers are responsible for maintaining all the City Parks including the Pelican Bay Park & Swim Beach, Squiggly Park, the Basketball Court next to the Police Station, the Fishing Pier and our City boat launch.

There is no fee to use the City Park’s or boat launch for Pelican Bay Citizens and their accompanied guests.
There is a fee to use the boat launch for non-citizens of the City of Pelican Bay A launch permit can be purchased at the City Hall located at: 1300 Pelican Circle, Azle, Tx 76020
